Unforgiven 3 is epic I don't care what anyone says its pure epic. Am I the only one that always love it, sure there must be tons of others too. I love the other two but it all depends on my mood and where I am in life, sometimes 2 hits me and I'm like \

Number 1 is sooooooooooooo good!!! Number 2 & 3 are also awesome!!! Number 3 was the 7th metallica song I ever listened to, shortly after the album came out (I was 7) and my Dad was trying to get me to like metallica, now I love it!!! So funny cause him and I rock out to this kind of stuff in the car alone, and then when my sis is in the car, we listen to shitty pop
Anto Ascic
For a long time i liked only II. Now I is best and 3 is as good as II.

Despite everyone's hate, I love part three. It still rocks, but all you guys care about is what came first? I respect Metallica enough to appreciate their good work, not tell them they've changed. Be a real fan.

James is an amazing artist, song writer and lyrics creator. I've seen him sit down with a pen and paper and the words or verses just run through him like melted butter. Makes you feel like your sitting, watching a genius.!!

The best unforgiven is unforgiven 2, it's so beautiful and a masterpiece. It does sounds very commercial but then again, the three unforgiven's sound commercial so it doesn't really matter. \n\nUnforgiven 1 is about the kid's parents disliking him and he can't forgive his parents because his parents couldn't understand him.\n\nUnforgiven 2 is a little bit more tricky. Unforgiven 2 is a love song. It's pretty much about this guy that he likes this girl and they have similarities and even though he loves her, he still can't forgive her. He doesn't hate her, he just can't forgive her because he can't forgive his parents and even though the girl that he is with is true, he still feels the need not to forgive nobody. The girl also loves him and will be there for him no matter what happens. Some people think it's actually about the guy leaving the girl but it's kind of not. The girl dies at the ending of the song, when James says, ''The door is closed, so are your eyes'', the girl eyes are closed and she is dead. The door pretty much stands for a soul, the guy soul is closed, it's broken because the girl is dead and he wishes that she was alive because she was the only one that he loved in the world. Without her, his soul is broken. When it says, ''I take this key and I buried it in you, because your unforgiven too. That means that he will remembered the amazing relationship that they had but he will always remembered it by the memories of the girl. The girl is dead but he will remembered her by the memories that they had. She is unforgiven too because she was like him, nobody forgive her just like nobody forgive him.\n\nThe Unforgiven 3 is about the guy who can't forgive himself, after he couldn't forgive his parents and his love of his life, his love of his life loved him and he loved her but she is dead by that point. However, he now admits that is him he can't forgive. Unforgiven 3 is not a love song by the way.\n\nI think that is what the unforgiven's are asking about.

I don't see how people don't like unforgiven III to almost hating it. It's really amazing I think. And it's a story of someone casting themselves to exile because they feel they can't be forgiven. Not even by them self. Searching for a way to redeem himself of wrong doing.

Unforgiven II has always spoke so deeply to me.
Omar Hisenberg
Unforgiven - the invidating environment\nUnforgiven II - trying to form and maintain relationships with people just as broken\nUnforgiven III - the self loathing and despair of your BPD fully realized\n\nYou understand this or you don't

Listening to this song and his message makes me think about the sense of life and everthing I do in a very cruel but beautiful way \u003c3\n\nPeople out there - Don't keep on wasting your lifes - Think about yourself and what really counts for you in life - And then go out of your nutshell and realize your Vision. Otherwise life is nothing but worthless and makes no sense in no way.\n\nIf you want reflect this during you enjoy this masterpiece:)

fuel from reload was the first song by Metallica I heard, I was 4. I'm now 22 and still in awe. Metallica is one of the most insperational bands of all time. and this trilogy is amazing, don't care if everyone thinks 3 sucks. Music is made to relate. So relate don't hate!

The trilogy is now complete: \n\nI: the story of a young embedded in a very conformist society, since its inception. Unable to speak or fully show their personality, spend an anonymous life like so many others. At the end of his life looks to the past with bitterness and regret. \n\nII was conceived as a sequel of the song The Unforgiven. The text is abstract and its meaning is often questioned by fans. However, the general feeling, even in the end, is that ideally the boy protagonist \

I: A person's struggle against their parents/society/authority.\n\nII: A person's struggle for love/acceptance/kinship with someone who is just as broken.\n\nIII: A person's struggle against themselves.

Load and Reload are such a breath of fresh air for me. Don't get me wrong, I fucking love their first 5 albums but Load and Reload proved these guys can go down a different route and still produce quality music in that genre. If those albums didn't have Metallica on the cover, they'd be MUCH more popular. \nPlus give the guys a break, doing the same stuff for 15 years at that point, you can't blame them for wanting to try something different. I know I get sick of eating spaghetti bolognaise twice a week.

i find these songs suit me well as i fit in no where in modern day society. where everyone thinks of themselves, i think of others. where others wont even lift a finger to help those in need, i work till i bleed helping all. when others start to bleed they give up, i wont give up helping others till i die. others will be remembered, i wont all because i dont fit in anywhere in modern day society.

LYRICS\n\nNew blood joins this earth \nAnd quickly he's subdued \nThrough constant pain disgrace \nThe young boy learns their rules \nWith time the child draws in \nThis whipping boy done wrong \nDeprived of all his thoughts \nThe young man struggles on and on he's known \nA vow unto his own \nThat never from this day \nHis will they'll take away \n\nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever be \nNever see \nWon't see what might have been \nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven \n\nThey dedicate their lives \nTo running all of his \nHe tries to please them all \nThis bitter man he is \nThroughout his life the same \nHe's battled constantly \nThis fight he cannot win \nA tired man they see no longer cares \nThe old man then prepares \nTo die regretfully \nThat old man here is me \n\nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever be \nNever see \nWon't see what might have been \nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven \n\nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever be \nNever see \nWon't see what might have been \nWhat I've felt \nWhat I've known \nNever shined through in what I've shown \nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven \n\nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven \n\nYou labeled me\nI labeled you\nSo I dub thee unforgiven\n\nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven\n\nYou labeled me\nI labeled you\nSo I dub thee unforgiven\n\nNever free \nNever me \nSo I dub thee unforgiven\n\n-----------------------------------------------\n\nLay beside me, tell me what they've done\nSpeak the words I wanna hear, to make my demons run\nThe door is locked now, but it's opened if you're true\nIf you can understand the me, then I can understand the you\n\nLay beside me, under wicked sky\nThrough black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze\nThe door cracks open but there's no sun shining through\nBlack heart scarring darker still, but there's no sun shining through\nNo, there's no sun shining through\nNo, there's no sun shining...\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nTurn the pages, turn the stone\nBehind the door, should I open it for you?\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nSick and tired, I stand alone\nCould you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you\nOr are you unforgiven, too?\n\nCome lay beside me, this won't hurt, I swear\nShe loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again\nShe lay beside me but she'll be there when I'm gone\nBlack heart scarring darker still, yes, she'll be there when I'm gone\nYes, she'll be there when I'm gone\nDead sure she'll be there...\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nTurn the pages, turn the stone\nBehind the door, should I open it for you?\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nSick and tired, I stand alone\nCould you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you\nOr are you unforgiven, too?\n\nLay beside me, tell me what I've done\nThe door is closed, so are your eyes\nBut now I see the sun, now I see the sun\nYes, now I see it\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nTurn the pages, turn the stone\nBehind the door, should I open it for you?\n\nWhat I've felt, what I've known\nSo sick and tired, I stand alone\nCould you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits,\nThe one who waits for you....\n\nOh, what I've felt, what I've known\nTurn the pages, turn the stone\nBehind the door, should I open it for you? (so I dub thee Unforgiven)\n\nOh, what I've felt...\nOh, what I've known...\n\nI take this key (never free...)\nAnd I bury it (never me...) in you\nBecause you're unforgiven, too...\n\nNever free...\nNever me...\n'Cause you're unforgiven, too...\nOh\n\n-----------------------------------------------\n\nHow could he know this new dawn's light\nWould change his life forever?\nSet sail to sea but pulled off course\nBy the light of golden treasure\n\nWas he the one causing pain\nWith his careless dreaming?\nBeen afraid, always afraid\nOf the things he's feeling\nHe could just be gone \nHe would just sail on\nHe'll just sail on\n\nHow can I be lost\nIf I've got nowhere to go?\nSearch for seas of gold\nHow come it's got so cold?\nHow can I be lost\nIn remembrance I relive\nAnd how can I blame you\nWhen it's me I can't forgive?\n\nThese days drift on inside a fog\nIt's thick and suffocating\nThis seeking life outside its hell\nInside intoxicating\nHe's run aground like his life\nWater much too shallow\nSlipping fast down with his ship\nFading in the shadows now\n\nA castaway\nThey've all gone away\nThey've gone away\n\nHow can I be lost\nIf I've got nowhere to go?\nSearch for seas of gold\nHow come it's got so cold?\nHow can I be lost\nIn remembrance I relive\nAnd how can I blame you\nWhen it's me I can't forgive?\n\nForgive me, forgive me not\nForgive me, forgive me not\nForgive me, forgive me not\nForgive me, forgive me\nWhy can't I forgive me?\n\nSet sail to sea but pulled off course\nBy the light of golden treasure\nHow could he know this new dawn's light\nWould change his life forever\n\nHow can I be lost\nIf I've got nowhere to go?\nSearch for seas of gold\nHow come it's got so cold?\nHow can I be lost\nIn remembrance I relive\nSo how can I blame you\nWhen it's me I can't forgive?\n\nThank me later
